Magnetism

Magnetism is a fundamental force that shapes our physical world, an invisible energy that influences the motion of particles and the behavior of materials. From the magnetic fields that govern the cosmos to the forces driving everyday technology, magnetism is an unseen yet powerful force. Through exploration, we can harness its potential, from the tiny scale of subatomic particles to the vast reaches of the universe, making magnetism not just a force of nature, but a key to unlocking technological innovations and understanding the fabric of reality. At the intersection of art, physics, and mysticism lies a field waiting to be seen. Using a ferrofluid Hele-Shaw cell, I explore the invisible geometries of magnetism to reveal the dynamic tension at the heart of reality — modeled by the ABBA equation: [A+B−]/[b−a+]. This device acts as both lens and medium, where polarized ferrofluids respond to magnetic fields in a living dance of form and motion.
